Pantano Animal Clinic

DeeAnn, CVT

I grew up in the country of upstate New York and always surrounded myself with animals, cats and dogs mostly.  Until I conned my parents into letting me have a couple of ducks; which I soon turned into a flock of ducks and geese!  I would hatch each egg in my incubator and hand raised each chick.

Our large family moved to Tucson in September of 1984.  I attended the U of A for a while and in January of '85, I got a job at a veterinary clinic where I started at the bottom and over the years worked my way up.  I worked at an emergency service in town where I gained a lot of experience and was able to take the Veterinary Technician Board exams and became a Certified Veterinary Technician.  I have worked as a receptionist over the past 10 years, but I still enjoy doing "tech-work" every chance I get.  I have always loved working with animals and I really enjoy being around people who also love their pets.

I have a lot of hobbies, but time only allows so much!  I love being at home with my husband, John, of 9 years and spending time with our family.  We have dogs, cats, birds, Koi, indoor fish, water turtles, desert tortises and even a rabbit.  I love to travel and be adventurous.  I also enjoy flower gardening, cake decorating/gingerbread houses, agility with the dogs and remodeling our home.
