Dr. Lent is a 1991 graduate of Purdue University, past president of Southern Arizona Veterinary Medical Association as well as a past president of the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association. He is an active member of the Animal Cruelty Task Force of Southern Arizona and is on the Steering Committee for this organization. He was appointed by former Stave Gov. Janet Napolitano to the Arizona Veterinary Medical Examining Board. Dr. Lent especially enjoys laser surgery, lameness evaluations and behavior consultations. In his spare time, Dr. Lent enjoys white water rafting and all things outdoors. He also coaches his sons, James and Joey's, sports teams. His wife, Dr. Stacey Lent, is board-certified in Veterinary Internal Medicine. Several "fur-children" also live in the Lent Household; Willie, a Golden Retriever, Meggie, a Boxer, Hank, a Jack Russell Terrier and the newest addition, Meaty, an English Bulldog. Three cats, 2 horses and numerous Pygmy goats round out the Lent family.
