Dr. Mike Lent

Dr. Lent is a 1991 Purdue University graduate, past president of SAVMA and is also the president of the AzVMA. He is a member and on the Steering Committee of the Animal Cruelty Task Force of Southern Arizona. He also was appointed by Gov. Napolitano to the Arizona State Veterinary Medical Examining Board.  Dr. Lent especially enjoys behavior consultations, laser surgery, lameness evaluations and is certified in PennHip radiology for the evaluation of canine hip dysplasia.  In his spare time, Dr. Lent enjoys white water rafting and coaching his sons', James and Joey's sports teams.  His wife, Dr. Stacey Lent, is board-certified in Veterinary Internal Medicine and works at Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson.  Several "fur-children" also live with Dr. Lent; Willie a 2 year old Golden Retriever and Meggie, a 3 year old Boxer and Hank a 4 year old Jack Russell Terrier make up the canine part of the family.  Simone a 4 year old siamese mix and Banjo (Big Sexy) a 2 year old DSH make up the feline part of the family.
