Pantano Animal Clinic
Jessica, Receptionist/Asst. Hi, my name is Jessica. I have always been interested in anything to do with animals. Throughout my life, my family always had animals in the house. I have had a great life filled with dogs, cats, birds, fish, and hamsters (about 100 at one time if you can believe it). I first started working with animals as a bather/groomer. I also volunteered by cleaning out runs and feeding the dogs and cats at a boarding facility. Soon, I started working there full time and had the responsibilities of medicating, exercising, and swimming the animals in addition to my previous duties. I also did some receptionist work whenever I could. However, I wanted to do something more for the animals. So I made the decision that I wanted to work in the veterinary medicine field. So now I am part of the wonderful family at Pantano Animal Clinic. I am a receptionist but I also am becoming more familiar with technician work. I am planning on attending Pima Community College’s Veterinary Technician program, so I will have the opportunity to achieve my certification. Although I have only worked at the clinic since July 2005, I plan on making Pantano Animal Clinic my home for quite some time. I want to thank my husband Devin for encouraging me every step of the way, and my Yorkshire terrier Strauss, and my Chihuahua Bear for being my inspiration to make the world a better place for animals.
