Pantano Animal Clinic

Donna, Office Assistant

Hello.  I was born and raised in West Allis, Wisconsin (a suburb of Milwaukee).  I began “saving animals” as a small child when I rescued everything that was still breathing from my Dad’s retrievers’ mouths.

A city girl, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (sometime in the 70’s) with a degree in Animal Science, proficient in the art of “showing and fitting” beef cattle (a shock to my parents who really thought they were sending me to college to be a veterinarian!).

Following a rewarding career spanning more than 20-something years in the sales and marketing of veterinary and animal health products, I settled in Tucson for the second time in 1989.

I came to work at Pantano Animal Clinic in 2002, 1) because I love the doctors and staff, and 2) because I am thoroughly convinced (after seeing hundreds of clinics coast-to-coast) that something special happens here.

Working at Pantano also gives me the flexibility to spend my “Golden Years” with my wonderful husband, Jack.  I also share my life with a terrific step-daughter, a sometimes wonderful cat and a 4 ½ pound, 14 year-old Yorkie named “Lizzie”.
